Best friends are the best

We had the most fantastic week! Some of our very best friends came to town with their two adorable kids. We spent the whole week on the go--at playgrounds, at a birthday party, going for walks, and even a date night out and a girls day!! It was AMAZING!!

The three musketeers:

Will concentrating on Hullabaloo, Anna in rollers, just happy to dance by his side.

Our fantastic friends watched our 5 kiddos, 3 and under, so we could go out on a date!!

Our AMAZING husbands kept all the kids for Sarah and me so we could have a WHOLE DAY away!!! It was wonderful! We ate yummy food, shopped in peace and quiet, watched a movie and had sweet conversations. And the boys did great with all the kids--even loading them all up in stollers and walking them over to get ice cream! The only hiccup of the day came right before bedtime. They were about 2 minutes from having all the kiddos settled down for the night, when Brian noticed there was poop on his shoe. And all over the carpet. And all over Mikaiah. Who was walking around diaper-less, leaving a delightful trail of presents behind her. They were almost homefree! Oh well, Brian handled it awesome and Mikaiah got a bath out of the deal. :) Here are the kids enjoying their ice cream...

Notice Cooper's sweet smile and the fact that Mikaiah is in random basketball shorts.

And here are the amazing men. And yes, they are sharing headphones while watching a movie together. (Ignore the laundry in the background -its just a prop to make our house look cozy while we parade in potential buyers.)

GREAT pictures, fun times, hilarious story (except for Brian- sorry!)

We have some daddy-dressing-kids pictures, too! In fact, I even made stickers a few years ago for church that said, "My Daddy dressed me today." ;-)

I love the rollers in Anna's hair! : ) She's adorable.

You've gotta wonder if there even was hesitation when they dressed Mikaiah in those basketball shorts - gotta love it!
