Papa's birthday was actually last week-but we went out to dinner Saturday night to celebrate. It was so much fun and kids loved the chocolate cake Papa got! All day we were asking the kids what they loved about Papa. Here were some of their responses, "We love playing in Papa's pool, on his swings, on his slide, in the toy room, riding cars at his house, and riding on his mower." (Do you see a pattern here? We had a little chat about materialism and loving people for who they are instead of just the things they give you...) :) So they changed their tune just a bit and said how much they loved snuggling with Papa and playing with him. Mikaiah mentioned how she's especially fond of sucking on Papa's nose and pulling his ears. :) Seriously though, we are so thankful that God has blessed our lives with a man who is so wise, humble, and considerate and yet so fun and silly with our kids. We love you Papa!
